A Fresh Look, New Bargains, and Kilt Hire Made Easy

You may have noticed that over summer, a “refresh” of the Scots in Spirit website has provided better graphics and layout.

We have made other improvements too – for example, we have added a “Pre-Loved” section, where you will find great bargains. The Pre-Loved section currently lists some ex-hire Prince Charlie jackets & vests, plus an assortment of kilts and waistcoats in different sizes and tartans – some of the kilts are brand new, just surplus to requirements, so an even bigger bargain! Take a look to see if there is anything there for you.

Our Kilt Hire section is also improved. You can now make all your choices, pay and send your hire order through to us completely online. There is even an online measuring guide available to help you choose the correct sizes, and we have already had compliments on how easy it is to use. Hire kilt outfits range from casual (barbecues and parties) to formal (weddings and dinners) - and everything in between. For example, just hire a jacket & vest if you have your own kilt. Of course you are always welcome to call us on (09) 971 7694 to answer any questions and discuss special requirements.

Bannockburn marked the end of the first Scottish War of Independence, which began back in 1296 when Edward I was King of England and continued until 1328. It was a decisive victory for the army of King Robert the Bruce over the army of King Edward II of England.
