Waipu Highland Games 2018

Once again the Northland township of Waipu will be kicking off the New Year with its annual Highland Games.

Now in its 148th year, the internationally renowned Waipu Highland Games is one of the most well known entries in New Zealand's Highland Games and Scottish cultural events calendar.

The Games draws thousands of people each year and features a wide range of entertainment, including musical events in bagpiping and pipe band drumming, as well as highland dancing, heavy weight, and other field events.

Scots in Spirit will be among the stallholders there on the day, so feel free to drop by our tent to see what products we have with us.
