Anniversary of Robert Burns' death 21 July every year Scotland's great poet dies in 1796. We celebrate his birth, we may also like to commemorate his death
St Andrews Day 30 November every year Scotland's National Day, a public holiday there and the Scots traditionally  hold a celebration around this time
