Waipu Highland Games

This year the Northland township of Waipu will be once again kicking off the new year with its annual Highland Games.

Now in its 146th year, the Waipu Highland Games is one of the most well known entries in New Zealand's highland games and Scottish cultural events calendar, and carries an immense international reputation in its own right.

The Games features a variety of events and activities, including musical events in bagpiping and highland drumming, as well as highland dancing, heavy weight, and other field events. There will also be a number of Clan organisations and other cultural groups in attendance.

Scots in Spirit will be there on the day with a full range of products and information available, so feel free to stop by our tent and see what we have on offer.
